WE NEED YOUR HELP

In order to develop a profile of solar exports, we hope to sample a large number of households with solar panels within our scheme area of 2251.

Due to regulation around privacy, Ausgrid will not release this information to us directly. They do however have an online request form here:

You will need your meter or NMI number from a power bill, your Surname as it appears on your bill, and your Postcode only.

Provided you have been at the same address for the last 12 months, request a full year of Detailed data from say 01/09/2022 to 31/08/2023, otherwise the period you have been at that address.

Provide your contact details for Ausgrid's purposes only, mark No in respect of 3rd Party Request, accept T&C's, complete Captcha and Submit.

Once Ausgrid have processed your request, you will receive a fairly large Excel spreadsheet, dividing your year's power and solar export into either 5 minute or 30 minute blocks.

We will collate and analyse the data and use it to extrapolate a solar export profile for our 2251 area. This will form an essential element of our economic modelling.

The process is simple , and the data obtained will only be passed on to our prospective retailer in anonymised format, only retaining the meter number.
